- Advocate and embed MACH architecture principles across digital projects, promoting innovation, agility, and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, translating business needs into robust technical solutions that drive tangible business outcomes.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring development teams on best practices in architecture, coding standards, and deployment strategies.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, recommending innovative solutions aligned with Air New Zealand’s strategic digital goals.
- Maintain clear and comprehensive architectural documentation, standards, and guidelines.
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect, ideally within large, complex enterprise environments.
- Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of identity management solutions (Azure AD, Okta) and modern observability platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to integrate and optimise COTS applications through APIs, event-driven architectures, and other integration methodologies.
- Solid experience applying MACH principles in real-world scenarios, with a track record of delivering cloud-native, microservices-based solutions.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts clearly to stakeholders across all levels.
If you meet the majority of the criteria and are excited by the opportunity, we’d love to hear from you.
