Turboprop MOC Planning Engineer

Kia ora!

We have a fantastic opportunity to develop your planning ability and gain experience within the 119 Turboprop Planning Organisation. We are currently seeking applications to join the Turboprop Maintenance Operations Centre Planning Team, focussing on daily and overnight maintenance planning.

Based in Christchurch, you will be working alongside Turboprop Maintenance Ops Controllers and linked closely with Regional Operations Control. Supported from Forward Planning and Fleet engineering teams, you will communicate the Turboprop fleet's daily and overnight maintenance requirements to 145 maintenance centres across the country.

Reporting to the Turboprop MOC Planning Leader, this role is responsible for the daily coordination and scheduling of the Turboprop fleets' required routine and non-routine maintenance items, ensuring all line maintenance visits are achieved effectively and efficiently fleet wide. This is achieved by planning tasks on an individual aircraft and line station basis. It's a dynamic role that means you need to be able to think on your feet, as it provides important support for our Day of Operations Planning where plans can change rapidly.

To be successful you'll have an aircraft engineering background and planning experience, a high level of commercial astuteness, strong project management skills, the ability to self-manage and juggle a busy workload. The role has a key focus on ensuring that our Air NZ fleet maintenance is completed on time, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a broad understanding of our technical operations, who is an effective communicator, with excellent computer skills and ability to work on shift. To be considered for this opportunity, apply online with an updated CV and cover letter outlining your experience relevant to the role. For more information on the role, please refer to the attached position description.

Applications close 2nd October 2025.
