Brand and Marketing
The Global Brand Content Marketing team are responsible for creating innovative and provocative brand experiences and communications through brand marketing, partnerships, content delivery, digital marketing and social media. The team are responsible for ensuring all staff members understand the brand tools and brand promise of “Liberating Travellers” as well as the brand values. Communications team is responsible for protecting and enhancing the Air New Zealand brand. This includes working with advertising agencies, media companies, news outlets and philanthropic organisations to make sure our customers understand who we are, what we stand for and why they should travel with us.
Contact Centre and Customer Care
Air New Zealand's Contact Centre operates 24/7 to support customers in New Zealand and around the world. Our highly trained consultants make sure our customers receive a personalised and effortless service experience when contacting about their travel needs either in New Zealand or throughout the world. This is a challenging and technical role requiring excellent product knowledge, strong systems ability and commitment to providing world-class customer service.
The Customer Care team delivers outstanding customer experiences every day through innovation and omni-channel experiences. It supports delivery of the airline’s customer policies and advocates for customers. The team is passionate about customer recovery and making sure Air New Zealand continues to be our customers’ airline of choice. From solving issues and sourcing alternative flight options in disruptions to assisting with medical repatriations – the team is at its best when things haven’t gone as planned.
Finance
The Finance team provides the intellectual, commercial and financial knowledge that allows us to grow as a business and continue to be profitable.
Group Finance, Corporate Finance, Internal Audit, and Group Taxation make up our wider Finance team, with strategic and analytical specialists in each area. Our Finance employees are supported to grow their expertise and further their careers with Air New Zealand, both upwards as well as laterally across the business.
Government and Regional Affairs
The Government and Regional Affairs team connects Air New Zealand with external stakeholders in New Zealand and overseas. The team work with local and national leaders to progress Air New Zealand’s interests and express our contribution to supercharging New Zealand’s success. The team works with community partners, regional economic development agencies, and leads Air New Zealand’s commitment to ensuring that Māori culture is reflected in both the customer and staff experience. The team also works closely with the New Zealand Government, Air New Zealand’s biggest shareholder.
Group Shared Services
The Group Shared Services team provides shared business services to Air New Zealand’s worldwide operations. It works strategically and tactically with our wider financial, operational, and supply chain streams on project and process initiatives. Some of our areas of specialist expertise include payroll, employee onboarding and contracts, ID cards, credit analysis and control, passenger fraud, transaction validation, fare construction and proration, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. We proudly embrace continuous improvement as part of our culture, and it is a strong area of focus to grow our capability in delivering efficient and effective services.
Legal, Enterprise Risk and Governance
The Legal, Enterprise Risk and Governance team advises the business globally on significant projects, legal issues and litigation as well as privacy and data protection issues. They also coordinate company-wide enterprise risk management and corporate insurance, as well as ensuring the smooth running of the Board of Directors meetings, corporate governance and compliance with the NZX Listing Rules.

Our Revenue Management Analysts have 70 billion choices to make per year for Domestic fare pricing. That’s across 20 Destinations, 148,000 flights, 13 million seats, 15 price points, 365 days to sell!

Procurement and Supply Chain
The Procurement team are catalysts for innovation, fostering partnerships that extend across commercial, operational, and sustainable endeavours. We work closely with every facet of the airline, aligning our strategies with their business plans and goals to ensure Air New Zealand maximises its return on every dollar spent with our complex and diverse pool of global suppliers.
The Supply Chain team is a vital force supporting billions of dollars' worth of aircraft assets. With dedicated professionals across Aotearoa New Zealand, the team covers everything from Planning and Logistics, Compliance & Risk Management, and aviation-specific areas like Ground Service Equipment (GSE) & Tooling, ensuring seamless operations across the global supply of aircraft parts and Inflight Services. What sets us apart is our unwavering commitment to being customer-centric, prioritising safety and the passenger experience in every decision and strategy.
Property and Infrastructure
Our Property and Infrastructure division is made up of Master Planning and Leasing, Project Management, Facilities Management (Airports and Commercial) and Facilities Management (Engineering and Maintenance).
The team works closely with many of Air New Zealand’s business units and pulls together teams of experts as necessary to sustainably improve the performance of our property assets and the working environment for our people.
Revenue Management
The Revenue Management team is responsible for continuously generating the best possible revenue from every customer journey. This includes optimising our inventory and pricing for passengers and cargo, and providing customer-centric commercial products.
Sales
Our global sales team is responsible for driving growth and revenue across our corporate, government and retail partners to support our company purpose to supercharge New Zealand’s success – socially, environmentally and economically.
Strategy, Networks and Alliances
The Strategy, Networks and Alliances team is focused on optimising profitability and sustainably growing the airline's route network. The team also develops airline partnerships that increase Air New Zealand’s international presence and provide our customers with access to a global network.

Interviews
If you’re invited to attend an interview, we will assess your skills and experience via behavioural-based questions, and provide you with further information about the role. A second interview may be required to explore your technical skills, often in the form of a pre-set task.
Psychometric testing
Depending on the role, you may be required to complete online cognitive assessments.
Vetting
You will be required to complete a number of vetting and reference checks. A verbal offer may be made subject to clearing the vetting process.
Offer of employment
If you are the preferred candidate and have passed the vetting process, you will be asked to join the Air New Zealand whānau.
