Account Manager (Sales Specialist) - Fixed Term Contract

Our Sales chapter are recruiting for an Account Manager (Sales Specialist) to join the team based in Wellington on a 12-month fixed term contract. 

Reporting to the Senior Manager Corporate & Government, as the Account Manager - you will drive and present a compelling commercial value proposition to a portfolio of customers with a key focus on account retention, sales optimization and high customer and stakeholder engagement.

In this role you will be responsible for: 

  • Managing the account portfolio to achieve revenue, market share, and targets.
  • Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with accounts from operators to senior managers
  • Executing strategic business plans with customers for long-term commitments to Air NZ
  • Securing new business within the assigned portfolio to enhance Air NZ market share
  • Identifying new growth opportunities and implement account plans to develop the portfolio.

  • You have outstanding communication and relationship-building skills with strong operational capability
  • Consistent high performer in a fast-paced account management function with a wide and varied commercial network
  • You're resilient, flexible, and possess strong business acumen with the ability to challenge the status quo and deliver results
  • You have a natural ability to understand clients' needs and challenges, fully committing to partnering with them to provide world-class solutions.
