Components Maintenance Auckland is positioning itself for a positive future supporting both Air New Zealand and customer aircraft component maintenance activity.
To support this requirement, we are looking for experienced Aircraft Engineers to join our day shift teams.
Aircraft mechanical or avionics/electrical experience is necessary to fill vacancies within the following Components workshops - Safety Workshop (mechanical), Wheels & Brakes (mechanical) and Avionics/Electrical.
The successful candidates will be self-motivated and able to work as part of a team to ensure that OTP/TAT is met, without risk to safety or operational integrity, and that the high quality of their work is maintained under tight timeframes.
Communication skills are essential along with an ability to relate and interact with a wide range of people on a day-to-day basis. A strong customer focus with excellent time management skills is important along with an understanding of aircraft systems and components.
The purpose of this role is to provide excellent service to our own fleets and customers through the safe, accurate and timely provision of Components related engineering maintenance services. The successful candidate will be working within a highly regulated environment with the ability to meet tight deadlines, achieve our Aircraft Delivery targets while working towards our strategic Kia Mau goals.
Some of the prerequisites for the position are:
- NZ Qualified Aircraft Maintenance Engineer or equivalent
- Ability to demonstrate teamwork and be results focused
- A commitment to Health and Safety and Safety Management System
- A commitment to continuous improvement and 5S.
