About the role
- Analyse credit risk, debtor performance and financial data to minimise exposure and optimise cash flow outcomes
- Deliver accurate reporting, dashboards and insights using Power BI and advanced Excel to support operational and commercial decisions
- Support accounting activities including journals, reconciliations, variance analysis and financial reporting requirements
- Continuously improve credit management policies, controls and reporting processes to enhance efficiency and governance
- Partner with stakeholders across Finance and the wider business to provide analytical support and influence positive financial outcomes
- Identify trends, risks and opportunities within large datasets to support proactive decision making and stronger business performance
- Contribute to a culture of safety, compliance and operational excellence across all activities.
What we’re looking for
- Experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or finance within a large and complex organisation
- Strong analytical capability, with confidence interpreting financial and operational data to drive insights and recommendations
- Advanced Excel skills and proven experience using Power BI to build reports and dashboards
- Understanding of accounting fundamentals including journals, reconciliations and variance analysis
- A continuous improvement mindset, with a passion for automation, process enhancement and delivering smarter ways of working
- Strong communication and stakeholder relationship skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams
- The ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Relevant business, finance, or accounting qualifications, or equivalent experience, would be advantageous.
