Auckland and Christchurch roles available 

About the Role: 

A summer internship with our Engineering & Continuing Airworthiness teams is the first step in the door, not only to Air New Zealand but also to the aviation industry.  Our internship will provide exposure to the multidisciplinary skills required for today's engineers, while also giving the opportunity for development within a professional network.   

This is a paid internship providing an opportunity for interns to gain invaluable practical work experience. Interns will work in an environment that encourages collaboration and support where your creativity and fresh ideas will be valued. Interns will work with experienced aviation engineers and industry professionals. 

What We're Looking For: 

• Undergraduate student in your second to last year of a Bachelor of Engineering degree majoring in Mechanical or Mechatronics
• Passion for aviation and a keen interest in the latest industry trends and technologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and eager to learn
• Must be a NZ Citizen or Permanent Resident & be currently based in NZ
