We are excited to launch an innovative position of Cargo Agent at Air New Zealand for early 2025 opportunities!

Here at Air New Zealand Cargo, we process approximately 215,000 shipments yearly and work with 409 customers. As a Cargo Agent you will work with an experienced team, dedicated to providing excellent customer service and help ensure our customers freight gets from A to B safely, accurately, and timely.
We are currently seeking expressions of interest for Part Time (20-30hours per week) permanent positions within our Cargo Operation at Auckland Airport.
To succeed as a Cargo Agent, you'll need:
- Accuracy with processing of inbound cargo and with assembly of export cargo loads
- Combination of administration and cargo handling experience
- Excellent computer/keyboard skills
- Understand the key drivers in the business
- High level of fitness and energy
- To be reliable and ready to work hard, this is a hands-on, physical role.
- To ensure the safe, accurate and timely handling of import, export, and domestic cargo
Mandatory Requirements:
- Currently eligible to work in NZ (NZ Permanent Residency or NZ Citizenship)
- Full NZ Driver's License
- Ability to pass security and medical checks
Permanent positions cover a roster pattern. This could include morning, afternoon or evening shift patterns and weekend work, so applicants must be prepared to work on Saturday and Sundays.
