What you’ll be doing
You’ll work as part of a close-knit logistics and Tool Store team that performs a variety of warehousing duties including tool control, goods storage, handling, inwards inspection, delivery and dispatch. Accuracy, quality and customer service are key in this role.
Day to day, you will:
- Ensure goods are received and dispatched accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a tidy, compliant and safety-focused warehouse environment
- Support tool control and stock handling processes across engineering operations
- Meet airworthiness and quality standards, and complete accurate documentation
- Contribute ideas to improve workflow and efficiency.
This role will suit you if you are:
- Organised, methodical and able to meet deadlines
- Customer-focused with good communication skills
- Physically fit and comfortable working in a hands-on environment
- Skilled with basic computer systems and keen to learn
- A holder of a full New Zealand driver’s licence
- Able to work on a rotating roster.
Bonus skills we’d love to see:
- Previous experience in warehousing or logistics
- A current forklift licence and/or exposure to warehouse systems
- A good standard of maths and tool handling experience.
