Marketing Executive Taiwan

We’re looking for a Marketing Executive to support the Marketing Manager Taiwan across a broad range of marketing activities. This role spans campaign management, public relations, social media, and retail initiatives that strengthen the Air New Zealand brand and help deliver commercial objectives across Taiwan markets.

Working within a small, agile team, you’ll take on diverse responsibilities and thrive in a dynamic hybrid environment where collaboration, adaptability, and creativity are key.

Please note, this role is based onsite Taipei and required to work in the office on weekdays.

Role responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute B2C and B2B marketing campaigns, incorporating co-op initiatives with key partners (including and not limited to local travel agents, Tourism boards), across social media, digital, print, native, TV, and emerging multimedia platforms.
  • Support Marketing Manager in delivering communication and PR strategies, identifying and managing PR opportunities to strengthen the airline brand and destination visibility.
  • Develop and execute Air New Zealand’s brand and social media strategy, ensuring alignment with conversion and business objectives.
  • Manage and maintain regional website content, ensuring all information is current, localized, and aligned with global guidelines or local sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with both domestic and international media and creative agencies to deliver high-quality, timely campaign assets.
  • Track and analyse campaign performance using analytics tools, and proactively recommending and implementing optimizations during campaign flights.Prepare comprehensive campaign wrap-up and performance reports for presentation across all levels of the organization.
  • Lead stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration, aligning objectives across internal teams and external agency partners.
  • Drive marketing initiatives cross trade channels, leveraging industry and brand insights to enhance brand visibility and sales performance.
  • Liaise with the New Zealand-based head office marketing, technical teams and external agencies to plan and execute regional marketing initiatives.
  • Contribute to the delivery of the annual sales and marketing plan, working with the regional team to drive revenue growth, strengthen distribution channels, and exceed business targets.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, commercial, and marketing teams to ensure alignment on product messaging and communication needs.
  • Provide trade marketing support through B2B advertising, collateral development, design materials and event production.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with all internal stakeholders to ensure smooth cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ideate and develop display, social, and video ad creatives, while conducting ongoing A/B testing to optimize performance and refresh creative assets regularly.
  • Monitor industry and travel media channels, track competitor activities, and identify trends or opportunities for proactive marketing responses.
  • Ensure all communications and collaterals adhere to Air New Zealand’s brand guidelines, tone of voice and quality standard.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative team culture by contributing ideas and initiatives that improve workflows and enhance regional team effectiveness.

Our ideal candidate:

  • Eligible to work in Taiwan.
  • Strong storyteller with experience in communications, content creation, and copywriting across digital and social platforms.
  • Proven ability to develop, execute, and optimize demand generation and end-to-end marketing campaigns.
  • Excellent English and Chinese communication skills; Cantonese is a plus.
  • Skilled in stakeholder management, with regional experience and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
  • Confident presenter experienced engaging senior stakeholders virtually and in person.
  • University graduate with 4+ years’ marketing experience, ideally in airline or travel sectors.
  • Hands-on experience with CMS, GA4, Google Ads, and Meta Ads Manager.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of digital trends, social media, AI tools, and the Hong Kong media landscape.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or Canva preferred.
  • Flexible and adaptable, comfortable with hybrid work, occasional after-hours launches, and travel.
