We’re looking for a confident and highly organised Personal Assistant to support four senior leaders in Air New Zealand’s Sustainability and Corporate Affairs group, based in Auckland. This full-time, permanent role is hands-on and varied; you’ll need to be proactive, calm under pressure and great at keeping things moving in a fast-paced environment.
About the Role:
Busy, Varied Workload: you’ll manage diaries, inboxes, travel and meetings for four leaders across the full Corporate Affairs portfolio. This includes communications, government relations, internal engagement and more. The team works at pace and there are always moving parts to juggle, so strong coordination skills and attention to detail are key.
Stakeholder Coordination: you’ll be working closely with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including senior leaders across the business and government agencies. You’ll help prepare briefs, manage key documents and be confident chasing timelines and getting meetings locked in.
Communication: clear, timely comms are critical in this space. You’ll help manage busy inboxes, prioritise messages and ensure nothing slips through the cracks (particularly in times of pressure or competing deadlines).
Supporting the Team to Succeed: this team values a someone who can manage expectations, ask the right questions and encourage good planning. This role would suit someone who’s confident managing up, knows how to hustle when needed and can encourage leaders to be clear with their priorities.
What will you bring?
Proven Personal Assistant experience, ideally supporting multiple senior leaders.
Confident communication skills and the ability to manage up.
Strong organisation and time management, especially when juggling competing demands.
Experience working with senior or external stakeholders (e.g. government, media, etc.).
A proactive, calm and mature approach, you're someone who’s not afraid to pick up the phone and get things done.
Proficiency in the MS Office Suite, especially Outlook and Teams.
