Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Within our QA team, you will work alongside talented engineers, architects, and product specialists to embed quality at every stage of the development lifecycle. This role is based at our Auckland Airport Campus. 

How you’ll make an impact

  • Drive quality outcomes by embedding testing practices across the full development lifecycle, from idea through to release
  • Design and implement scalable automation frameworks that improve speed, coverage, and reliability of testing
  • Strengthen regression and automation suites to ensure consistent, high-quality releases across platforms
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to diagnose issues early and optimise software design for testability
  • Shape the future of QA by contributing to automation strategy, tooling, and best practice standards
  • Lead and mentor QA engineers, building capability and lifting overall team performance
  • Champion continuous improvement, helping teams deliver faster while maintaining high quality standards.

What you’ll bring

  • Extensive experience in QA automation within complex technology environments, ideally at a senior level
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Java-based automation frameworks and modern testing tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Rest Assured, JUnit, or TestNG
  • Proven experience designing and implementing test strategies in agile delivery environments
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, test-driven development, and modern engineering practices
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor others and uplift team capability
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to design innovative test solutions and troubleshoot complex systems
  • Excellent communication skills, with a collaborative approach across technical and non-technical teams.
