Aircraft Maintenance – Painter

Christchurch Aircraft Maintenance has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and qualified Automotive or Aircraft Painter (or equivalent) to join their Christchurch based team.
What you’ll be doing
As an Aircraft Painter, you’ll be involved in the painting process across multiple aircraft types and components. From interpreting maintenance data to surface preparation and application by spray, brush, or roller, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality, compliant finishes that meet the highest standards of safety and appearance.
In this role, you will
- Prepare surfaces and apply paint finishes to aircraft and components
- Interpret technical maintenance data accurately and efficiently
- Ensure compliance with all company, legislative, and regulatory standards
- Work both independently and as part of a team in a busy operational environment
- Contribute to a safety-first, customer-focused workplace culture
What you’ll bring
- A trade qualification in Automotive or Aircraft Painting, or equivalent
- A proactive approach to safety and quality
- Experience working in a regulated environment
- The ability to meet tight deadlines and work additional hours, including weekends, when required
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
