Air New Zealand currently have a vacancy within Auckland Light Maintenance (QEC) Quick Engine Change section for a Borescope Engineer.
The successful candidate will be motivated and able to work both as an individual and as part of a team that will continue to ensure that OTP is met, without risk to safety and operational integrity and that the high quality of their work is maintained under tight timeframes.
Communication skills are important with an ability to relate and interact with a wide range of people on a day to day basis. A strong customer focus with excellent time management skills are essential along with a strong understanding of engine and aircraft systems. Importantly the candidate will always be looking at ways to improve both personally and within the processes that support the team and the business.
The purpose of this role is to provide excellent service to our own fleets and customers through the safe, accurate and timely provision of mechanical engineering on engines and propellors both in the workshop and on-wing. The successful person will be working within a highly regulated environment and needs to be able to meet tight deadlines while juggling changing priorities.

- Qualified Aircraft Maintenance Engineer
- Ability to demonstrate teamwork and be results focused

- A commitment to improvement and development both personal and workplace.
