The Airpoints Loyalty team at Air New Zealand has a great opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager (Senior Sales Specialist - Loyalty Partners) to support our thriving programme.

The role you will play:
As an integral member of the Business Development team, our mission to build a world class loyalty business through developing and enhancing our Airpoints partner relationships.
You will be responsible for supporting the execution of the Airpoints Coalition Strategy and growth agenda. This will be done through successful project management and negotiation of strategic partnership agreements with target businesses that will achieve medium and long term business objectives.
You’ll leverage your proven relationships management skills, sales acquisition disciplines, industry knowledge and contacts to deliver exceptional results. Identifying new revenue opportunities and enhancing relationships with our existing Loyalty partners will be key to ensuring the customer and commercial aspirations of Air New Zealand's Loyalty business are achieved.
Our ideal candidate:
- Significant experience and success operating in B2C and B2B sales environments
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to operationalise wider business strategies
- Proven track record in delivering revenue growth while enhancing relationships
- The ability to build relationships and influence at all levels up to Executive
- Demonstrated ability to provide strategic recommendations to drive commercial outcomes
