How you'll make an impact
- Develop and deliver an annual business plan that achieves revenue, profitability, market share, and growth objectives.
- Lead commercial sales, pricing, and market strategies that maximise customer value and business performance.
- Build and strengthen relationships with key customers, freight partners, and industry stakeholders to grow long-term partnerships.
- Identify new commercial opportunities and innovative revenue streams that support sustainable business growth.
- Lead and develop a high-performing Cargo team, creating an environment where people thrive and deliver exceptional results.
- Analyse market trends and commercial performance, providing accurate forecasts and insights that support strategic decision making.
- Champion safety, security, and operational excellence across all areas of responsibility.
What we're looking for
- At least five years' experience in Sales and Marketing within a leadership role.
- Regional sales experience is highly regarded.
- A university qualification in business, or equivalent relevant commercial experience.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify opportunities and deliver profitable outcomes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage senior leaders and external partners.
- Strategic thinking skills, with the ability to balance long-term planning and day-to-day execution.
- Proven ability to build trusted relationships, influence stakeholders, and lead successful commercial negotiations.
- A collaborative leadership style with experience developing high-performing teams.
