We are currently recruiting for a Casual Customer Service Agent to join our busy team at New Plymouth Airport. Your responsibilities will vary - from checking in customers, special assistance such as wheelchair service or unaccompanied minors, resolving the challenges that occur during disrupts, to assisting with arrivals and departures.
The nature of this role is to connect with our customers and provide a uniquely 'kiwi' experience, setting our service apart from other airlines. Your warm welcome, friendly nature, and adaptable 'can do' approach will be essential for success in this role. There will be times of high pressure and tight deadlines so you will need to be resilient and able to adapt to change quickly.
Minimum Requirements:
- Eligible to work in New Zealand permanently at the time of applying
- Restricted or Full driver licence with reliable transport
- At least 2 years experience in a busy front-line customer service role, with airport/airline/tourism experience beneficial
- Confident picking up new computer systems, with excellent communication, initiative, and problem solving
Rostered Shifts
Your casual shifts will vary as we operate every day between the hours of 0500 and 2200. This means you may need to work weekdays, nights, weekends and public holidays. You will need to be flexible to work across these different shift days and times.
