Change Manager (Delivery Enablement Specialist)

Kia ora

Air New Zealand is on an accelerated journey to deliver the best flying experience on Earth. Our purpose is to enrich our country by connecting New Zealanders to each other and New Zealand to the world. As part of our brand promise, we embrace Manaaki – taking care further than any other airline and creating meaningful experiences that empower and connect.

To support this vision, we’re looking for a permanent Change Manager (Delivery Enablement Specialist) to join our Digital Delivery Enablement team. This isn’t your typical change role, we’re after a T-shaped professional with deep expertise in change and a broad delivery skill set.

You’ll take a hands-on, roll-your-sleeves-up approach to delivery, supporting your Tribe and Squad(s) to achieve outcomes and drawing on your wide-ranging expertise to help every stage of delivery succeed. You’ll thrive in our agile operating rhythm, enabling large-scale cross-functional initiatives and managing complex dependencies across teams, third parties, and the wider organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Champion effective delivery by shaping change strategies, structures, and processes that drive adoption and minimise friction

  • Conduct impact analysis and readiness assessments, and identify key stakeholders to support change planning and execution

  • Support the design and delivery of change communications to ensure engagement and understanding

  • Proactively identify and manage change risks and issues

  • Build strong relationships to ensure stakeholder needs are balanced and expectations managed

  • Maintain a focus on safety and security across all systems, people, and processes within your remit

  • Operate confidently in agile environments, applying a flexible approach to traditional delivery disciplines

What you’ll bring

  • Proven experience delivering change in agile, iterative environments focused on continuous value delivery

  • A track record of leading organisational change across both business and technology landscapes

  • Breadth of experience across Change Management, Project Management, and Business Analysis

  • Confidence in navigating ambiguity and shaping clarity from complexity

  • Strong engagement and influencing skills across a range of stakeholders

  • Excellent listening and communication skills – you know how to bring people on the journey

  • Experience in aviation, transport, logistics, or operational environments is a plus

What’s in it for you?
This is a rare permanent opportunity to help shape how Air New Zealand delivers change. You’ll work in a dynamic, supportive team that’s committed to building better ways of working and delivering value for our people and customers. If you’re ready to help drive meaningful outcomes and be part of a forward-thinking transformation, we’d love to hear from you.

Applications close 11:59pm on Sunday, 7 July 2025.
