Chapter Lead – Training Planning (Air)

Our specialist Training Planning team creates robust, compliant, and effective training plans that keep our operation at the forefront of safety and performance. How you’ll make an impact: 

  • Set the standard by defining and upholding competencies, ensuring the team consistently delivers excellence in training planning. 
  • Develop and empower your team, coaching and mentoring to build capability and pathways for growth. 
  • Deliver operational excellence through accurate, compliant, and timely forecasting, course plans, and training handovers. 
  • Collaborate and influence, engaging effectively across teams, squads, and tribes to maintain alignment with Workforce Management, Standards & Training, Crew Operations Support, and key stakeholders. 
  • Champion continuous improvement, driving the adoption of innovative tools and techniques, including AI and data visualisation, to future-proof our training operations. 

What we’re looking for: 

  • Proven leadership experience, ideally within complex operational or planning environments. 
  • Expertise with sophisticated planning systems and tools, along with the ability to simplify complexity and enhance processes. 
  • Proven ability to analyse complex information and make sound, data-driven decisions that balance regulatory, operational, and business needs. 
  • A relentless commitment to continuous improvement, always seeking new ways to enhance efficiency and quality. 
  • Strong foundations in process excellence, regulatory compliance, and training standards. 
  • A strategic mindset, able to understand the broader business context and proactively spot opportunities and connections.
