We are looking for Customer Service Agents to join us on a five-month and six-month Fixed-Term basis. Our Customer Service Agents are the first point of contact with our customers. As such, you'll need to be prepared to connect with and delight people by demonstrating the Kiwi charm and capability that we are admired for around the world. You will aid and provide expertise to ensure the travel experience is smooth and seamless from check in through to boarding.
What will you be doing?
In our check-in areas, you will provide technical assistance and expertise to ensure the travel experience is smooth and seamless from Check in through to boarding. You will provide support with looking after our high volume of unaccompanied minors traveling which will see you escorting our young travellers to and from their various check points. You will also be required to assist with pushing wheelchairs and lifting bags at any given time! Safety and Security are top priority, and you'll have comprehensive training & support to ensure you, your colleagues and customers are safe in this fast-paced environment.
You'll need:
- Eligibility to work in New Zealand (Citizen or Permanent Resident)
- A NZ Restricted or Full Licence and reliable transport to get yourself to work
- To be physically fit, able to walk up to 8km each day
- At least 2 years' experience in a customer facing role
- To be technically savvy with the ability to pick up and troubleshoot digital systems, along with accurate typing skills
- Resilience, self-motivation, and good prioritisation skills
- A fun and engaging attitude, plus a big smile!
- Commitment to 3-week fulltime training
Rostered Shifts:
We have 2x roster types available
Roster Pattern A: 6-month Fixed-Term staff
- The roster operates across public holidays, and we need your commitment to work the shifts as they are rostered
- The intended roster pattern is a 4n2 (4 days on 2 days off)
- Your shifts will occur from 4:30pm to 9:00pm and are 4.5 hours in length
- Our rosters are set fortnightly, and you’ll be rostered to work 30 – 50 hours per fortnight
- Overtime may be available additional to this but is not guaranteed
- Roster patterns will be confirmed at time of offer and there may be some variation to the above
Roster Pattern B: 5-month Fixed-Term staff
- You will be rostered Tuesday, Friday & Sunday. The roster operates across public holidays, and we need your commitment to work the shifts as they are rostered
- Your shifts will occur from 8:30am – 2:30pm and are 6 hours in length. Our rosters are set fortnightly, and you’ll be rostered to work 30 - 50 hours per fortnight
- Overtime may be available additional to this but is not guaranteed
- Roster patterns will be confirmed at time of offer and there may be some variation to the above
