Field Service Engineer

Help shape the digital experience behind one of New Zealand’s most iconic brands. As a Field Services Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in keeping our people connected and operational across airports, lounges, engineering facilities, and corporate environments throughout New Zealand and internationally. You’ll provide hands-on support for end-user technology, operational systems, and digital workplace services that enable exceptional customer experiences every day.

What you’ll be doing

  • Deliver on-site and remote Field Services support across Air New Zealand operational hubs
  • Deploy, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot end-user devices and workplace technology
  • Support desktop, laptop, meeting room, and peripheral technologies across multiple environments
  • Assist with technology rollouts, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Diagnose and resolve technical incidents quickly to minimise operational disruption
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders through clear communication and exceptional customer service

  • Participate in an on-call support roster to meet operational requirements
  • Maintain accurate asset, support, and documentation records

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience in Field Services, Desktop Support, End User Computing, and meeting room technologies
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS environments, hardware support, networking fundamentals, and systems administration
  • Experience supporting geographically distributed sites with the ability to work independently
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, collaboration technologies, and enterprise support tools
  • Strong troubleshooting, prioritisation, and customer engagement skills
  • Professionalism, discretion, and communication skills suitable for supporting senior leaders and executive stakeholders
  • New Zealand residency and the ability to travel domestically and internationally
