Air New Zealand is seeking a Learning Systems Specialist to support and manage exciting learning initiatives across the organisation. About the Role:
In this role, you’ll work closely with stakeholders, instructors, vendors, and IT teams to develop and enhance digital learning resources. You’ll also ensure our learning systems meet performance standards and comply with the aviation industry’s regulations. While specialising in learning systems, you'll also work with complex technologies, making you a versatile expert in your field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, configure and maintain the LMS and other learning platforms.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive learning dashboards and interfaces
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and security settings.
- Support the deployment and tracking of online courses and training schedules.
- Analyse learning data and develop reports using Power BI and Excel.
- Monitor integrations between learning systems and other enterprise systems.
- Troubleshoot issues with SCORM, xAPI, and AICC content packages.
- Upskill systems users and stakeholders on LMS functionalities.
- Build and maintain business/systems requirements and systems guidance material
- Implement automation processes using Power Automate.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Learning Technologies or Information Technology.
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills and experience with system integrations.
- Proficiency in Power BI, Excel scripting, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Preferred Experience:
- Knowledge of API-based integrations.
- Knowledge of instructional design principles.
- Project management experience in learning technology implementations.
