Light Maintenance Planner

Are you ready to take your career to new heights? Air New Zealand Narrow Body Planning is looking for a dynamic individual to join our Part 145 Team as a Light Maintenance Planner. In this role, you'll be the vital link between MOC and the Light Maintenance Production Team, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

What you'll do:

  • Coordinate maintenance and repair activities, both scheduled and unscheduled, for Air New Zealand and our valued external customers
  • Work under the guidance of the Narrow Body Planning Leader to ensure all tasks are completed to the highest standards.

What we're looking for: 

  • Experience in Aircraft Maintenance, preferably with A320 / 321, ATR72, and Q300 aircraft types
  • A strong background in project management and planning
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to oversee multiple tasks, including post-product/WIP analysis, reporting, and invoicing support
  • Willingness to work as part of a small team on a shift roster.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Planning experience
  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong numerical skills with the ability to analyse and identify workload trends
  • A willingness to learn new software applications
  • Exceptional organisational skills with a focus on accuracy and timeliness
  • Project management skills.
