Load Control Manager

We are seeking an experienced leader to join our Airline Operations team as a Load Control Manager.  Reporting to the Head of Airline Operations, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a customer-focused relationship with key internal stakeholders and customer airlines in Load Control functions. We are looking for a leader with demonstrated experience leading and developing leaders and teams to ensure that the delivery and quality of Load Control services meet or exceed customer requirements.

Through effective and authentic leadership of the Load Control teams, you will ensure the accurate, timely and cost-effective production of zero fuel weights, load plans and load sheets for Air New Zealand and customer aircraft. You will ensure a best practice tactical approach to guarantee that aircraft operate in accordance with all statutory regulations and operational standards and contribute to the maximisation of revenue through calculation and application of payload and trim.

You will be someone who demonstrates thought leadership and is passionate about creating winning teams through coaching and mentoring. Experience in a similar fast-paced operational environment, preferably in aviation, is essential as well as proven experience in leading, supporting and coaching strong, diverse and integrated teams.
