Crew Planner - Leave

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Workforce Management team as a Crew Planner – Leave. Reporting to the Chapter Leave – Resource & Leave Planning, this role is central to ensuring that our crew leave processes run smoothly and fairly. You’ll be working closely with stakeholders across the business to balance leave entitlements with operational requirements, using your planning expertise and attention to detail to deliver compliant and effective outcomes.

The role you will play:

  • Develop and maintain fair and effective leave plans that align crew entitlements with business requirements.
  • Support the delivery of leave ballots and requests, ensuring compliance, minimising leave liability, and maintaining fairness.
  • Analyse and report on leave planning performance, providing valuable insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of leave planning.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure leave planning outcomes support wider workforce needs and business priorities.

Our ideal candidate:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex information.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organisational and coordination abilities.
  • Strong numerical skills for applying and managing leave entitlements.
  • Ability to interpret and apply relevant sections of Crew collective agreements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
