Join our Cargo whānau at Air New Zealand as a Cargo Agent, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring every shipment arrives safely, accurately, and right on time. This is a part-time role, and we are currently inviting expressions of interest for our 2026 intakes.

Here at Air New Zealand Cargo, no two days are ever the same. With approximately 215,000 shipments each year and partnerships with over 400 customers, your work will directly impact thousands of people daily. You'll be part of a dedicated, energetic team, where collaboration and commitment ensure outstanding service.

How you'll make an impact:

• Process inbound cargo with precision, ensuring smooth and efficient handling
• Assemble export cargo loads accurately to meet tight schedules and customer expectations
• Provide exceptional administrative support to maintain accurate cargo records
• Maintain high safety and security standards, protecting our customers' valuable cargo
• Engage directly with customers and colleagues to uphold our reputation for excellence.

Ideally you will have:

• Strong administrative skills combined with cargo handling experience
• Excellent computer and keyboard proficiency
• The ability to thrive in a physical role, demonstrating high levels of fitness and energy
• A customer-focused approach and understanding of business drivers
• Reliability, punctuality, and readiness for weekend and shift work.

Mandatory requirements:

• Currently eligible to work in NZ (NZ Permanent Residency or Citizenship)
• Full NZ Driver's License
• Ability to pass security and medical checks.
