Logistics Controller

Are you organised, hands-on and ready to take off into a career in aviation logistics? Join our Auckland Distribution Logistics team as a Logistics Controller and help keep our Engineering & Maintenance teams moving, supported and ready to deliver safe, on-time travel for Kiwis across the globe.

This is an entry-level opportunity in our Supply Chain team and a great step into the world of logistics, warehousing and aviation.

What you’ll be doing
You’ll work as part of a close-knit logistics team that performs a variety of warehousing duties including tool control, goods storage, handling, inwards inspection, delivery and dispatch. Accuracy, quality and customer service are key in this role.

Day to day, you will:

  • Ensure goods are received and dispatched accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain a tidy, compliant and safety-focused warehouse environment
  • Support tool control and stock handling processes across engineering operations
  • Meet airworthiness and quality standards, and complete accurate documentation
  • Contribute ideas to improve workflow and efficiency

This role will suit you if you are:

  • Organised, methodical and able to meet deadlines
  • Customer-focused with good communication skills
  • Physically fit and comfortable working in a hands-on environment
  • Skilled with basic computer systems and keen to learn
  • A holder of a full New Zealand driver’s licence
  • Able to work on a rotating roster

Bonus skills we’d love to see:

  • Previous experience in warehousing or logistics
  • A current forklift licence and/or exposure to warehouse systems
  • A good standard of maths and tool handling experience
