Maintenance Coordinator

Air New Zealand's Airline Engineering and Maintenance division plays a significant role in the safe and reliable operation of our aircraft.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Coordinator based in Nelson on a fulltime basis. There is a requirement to work shifts that cover 0600 – 2200 hrs 7 days a week.

The purpose of the Maintenance Coordinator team is to support the maintenance staff that maintain our Turboprop fleets in the Line and Light maintenance divisions. This is achieved by providing real time support of AOG situations that arise across the country and preparing a full and complete work packages to support our Light maintenance units for their overnight work.

We are seeking an individual who works well in a team and maintains professionalism during interactions with other key business units. You’ll be self-motivated, have great organisational skills and the ability to cope under pressure.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including strong computer skills with the ability to work with commercially sensitive and confidential information exercising the highest degree of discretion is also required.

You will require a recognised apprenticeship and associated technical/aeronautical training or equivalent. NZCE, LAME or 5 years of recent industry experience is desirable.
