National Account Manager - East Coast USA

To help drive our continued growth, we’re seeking a commercially minded and results-focused National Account Manager to join our Sales Team, based in New York.

About the Role

This is a high-impact role responsible for managing a portfolio of top-tier trade partners across New York City and the Eastern USA. Your focus will be on strengthening existing relationships, developing new business opportunities, and increasing brand engagement with a particular emphasis on leisure travel partnerships.

As a key contributor to our North American trade strategy, you will work closely with senior leadership to drive revenue through indirect trade channels and represent Air New Zealand at major industry and partner events.

What You’ll Bring

  • 3–5 years’ experience in sales strategy, planning, and commercial analysis
  • Proficiency with tools and data sources such as ARC/BSP, MIDT, Microsoft CRM, DDS, and other B2B/B2C platforms
  • Strong negotiation skills and a deep understanding of cost of sale
  • A proven network and experience working across all key trade channels, including OTA, TMC, Cruise, Affinity, Wholesaler, Tour Operators, Consolidators, and Consortia

Role Details

  • Location: New York
  • Salary: $90,000 – $100,000, commensurate with experience
  • Travel: Required to meet clients and attend trade events within the assigned territory
