Partner Manager (Sales Specialist - Loyalty Partnerships)

Reporting to the Chapter Lead – Loyalty Sales, we are looking for an experienced Partner Manager to join the Loyalty Partners Sales team. This role is responsible for building, developing and managing strong strategic relationships with Airpoints coalition partners, by developing, recommending, and implementing strategic and tactical plans to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes for both partners and Air New Zealand. 

Key responsibilities of the role include: 

  • Lead the partnership strategy for a portfolio of partners across multiple categories that develops and enhances Airpoints partner relationships 

  • Providing day-to-day account management support across multiple categories, including setting the partnership roadmaps, annual business plans, integrated marketing plans and associated commercial targets 

  • Develop and implement tactical marketing and communications plan that improve member engagement and commercial outcomes for the Airpoints programme and its' partners 

  • Internal and external stakeholder engagement and oversight of the delivery of agreed actions 

  • Support partners with insights and reporting that proves the value and ROI of the investment in Airpoints 

Key skills and experience required: 

  • 3+ years in Account Management, Media Agency or Sales roles ideally within a Loyalty, Retail, FMCG or Services sector 

  • Proven capability in setting and executing against partnership or marketing business plans 

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking competency with good attention to detail 

  • Strong communicator, able to portray views convincingly, and to influence others 

  • Demonstrated ability in building and developing prosperous relationships with stakeholders
