People Safety at Air New Zealand incorporates aviation and occupational health, safety and wellbeing. Our People Safety team are expert advisors who partner with stakeholders across our business to ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of our customers and our employees. We're embedding a safety culture through mindful leadership, proactive risk management, the fostering of healthy relationships and ensuring appropriate tools and resources are always available.
Air New Zealand has a fantastic permanent, full-time opportunity for a People Safety Business Partner within our People Safety team.
In this role you be working as part of business leadership teams to influence, advice and coach in support of the implementation of business unit specific People Safety (aviation and occupational health, safety and wellbeing) initiatives and programmes in line with the Group People Safety Strategy to drive safety culture change. Acts as senior advocate of Group General Managers, General Managers and members of the Airline Leadership Team (ALT) in brokering required support, solutions and initiatives with our wider People Safety Assurance Team.
To be successful in this role, you will have strongly demonstrated competency in Health and Safety through a certified national qualification or recognised Diploma. You will have advanced knowledge and proven experience in a large complex organisation influencing and motivating diverse teams to achieve business goals.
