Planning Data Engineer

Join the 145 Planning Team and play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our network schedule. Based in either Auckland or Christchurch, this Monday to Friday full-time, permanent day position supports the Maintenance Delivery Unit’s purpose of safely delivering aircraft to the airline. This is achieved by having the right person, at the right place, at the right time with the right tools, equipment, training, environment, information and driven by safety first culture.

You Will:

  • Be an experienced aircraft engineer with recent hands-on maintenance experience on any of the following aircraft types B787, B777, A320, A321, ATR72, Q300
  • Analyse and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals, MPD documents and other maintenance data, attention to detail is
  • Be proficient in computer applications, including SAP and the Microsoft Office suite of applications
  • Utilize your problem-solving skills to identify issues and provide solutions
  • Communicate effectively across different levels in the business
  • Work independently and remotely if required
  • Collaborate effectively as part of a team

Qualifications:

  • Completed an Apprenticeship/Traineeship in the Aircraft Industry or an RNZAF Aircraft Technicians course
  • Level 4 National Certificate
