Planning Support Officer

We currently have an opportunity for a highly motivated Planning Support Officer working within our Light Maintenance Planning Team at the Auckland Airport Campus.
This is an ideal role if you enjoy administration, have a keen eye for detail and like variety during your day while working in a fast-paced environment as part of a small dynamic team. The role covers a 40-hour, weekly rotating shift pattern consisting of Early, Late and Overnight shifts with a plan of introducing 7-day coverage.

This role will:

  • Provide administrative support to assist in the efficient planning of aircraft light maintenance and check visits
  • Involve the printing and checking of maintenance packs, creating service orders, entering data and ensuring that the information is accurate, timely, up-to-date and available to our Planners, Team Leaders and Production Staff in support of aircraft maintenance
  • Work with commercially sensitive and confidential information so exercising the highest degree of discretion is mandatory.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have proven administration experience and a strong customer focus that shines through in all their interactions
  • Have superb time management and organisational skills with the ability to cope under pressure 
  • Be adaptable and able to manage changing priorities and work effectively and accurately with minimum supervision
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), including sound computer skills with a comprehensive knowledge of MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook).

Hours of work and payments for all shift work hours are per the Collective Agreement.  The various hours of work and shift patterns allow for some long weekends with a mix of both 4- and 5-day weeks.

Expected shift hours of work are shown below, but may alter should the business decide that this is necessary:

Early Shift         (06:00 to 14:30)             8hr

Afternoon Shift (12;00 to 22:30)             10hr

Late Shift          (14:00 to 22:30)             8hr

Overnight Shift (19:30 – 06:00)              10hr
