Narrow Body Planning Christchurch currently has a vacancy for a permanent Planning Support Officer, on a Monday to Friday day roster. This is an ideal role if you enjoy administration, have a keen eye for detail and like variety during your day while working in a fast-paced environment. In this role you will assist with the efficient planning of maintenance visits by working with planners, production leaders and their teams of engineers.
Duties include:
- Creating service orders, entering data, and making sure everything is accurate and up to date in a timely manner
- Preparation of maintenance paperwork and reference material
- Assisting 'on dock' with aircraft check paperwork collation and control
- Assisting with general administration when required
- Maintaining a safe working environment
We are seeking an individual with proven administration experience and a strong customer focus that shines through in all their interactions, having superb time management and organisational skills with the ability to cope under pressure. You need to be someone who is flexible and able to manage changing priorities.
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), including sound computer skills is what we are looking for along with your ability to work with commercially sensitive and confidential information.
The successful candidate will demonstrate enthusiasm for the job and the ability to work effectively and accurately with minimum supervision. A comprehensive knowledge of the MS Office software packages is essential, as are excellent word-processing and typing skills.
