Pricing Analyst - Los Angeles

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Monitor and analyze forward bookings and revenue trends by market and cabin class to optimize pricing and identify opportunities to grow revenue.
  • Provide insightful analysis to support targeted marketing campaigns, ensuring our pricing decisions strengthen campaign effectiveness.
  • Use data-driven insights to report and clearly communicate the success of sales initiatives and projects.
  • Track and proactively respond to competitor pricing strategies, recommending adjustments to maintain Air New Zealand’s competitive advantage.
  • Ensure fare accuracy across direct and Global Distribution System (GDS) channels, supporting seamless customer experiences.
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with internal teams and external partners.
  • Comply with all business and regulatory requirements to maintain operational excellence.

What we’re looking for:

  • A strategic thinker who understands economic drivers and thrives in a competitive, evolving environment.
  • Proven commercial analysis experience with a focus on pricing strategy.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and storytelling capability to translate data into actionable business strategies.
  • A tertiary qualification in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Engineering, Business, Finance, or Economics.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with other analytical tools.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, capable of influencing senior stakeholders confidently.
  • Adaptability and comfort navigating ambiguity and rapid change.
  • Expertise with airline revenue management and/or airfares will be an advantage

The salary range is USD75K to USD90K.
