Property Specialist

The Property & Infrastructure team at Air New Zealand manage a global portfolio of property assets across Lounges, Hangars, Cargo facilities and others.  These sites are primarily leased across over 200 different sites. 

To support the management of this portfolio, we have a 6-month fixed term opportunity for a Property Information Specialist.

In this role you will be responsible for managing and tracking lease portfolio payments, maintaining journals and ledgers to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to accounting standards and procedures.

Scope of the role includes:

  • Manage accounts payable, receivable and journals to ensure timely and accurate information, adherence to corporate accounting policies, and minimised debtors.
  • Process invoices to ensure prompt payment of rent and lease outgoings in compliance with lease agreements.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts to maintain accuracy and completeness.
  • Liaise with the Finance team to manage variances and ensure accuracy of information.
  • Assist the Leasing Team with the preparation of lease forecasts and updates.
  • Support the Leasing team with finance and accounts queries.
  • Assist with the updating of Lease data within the Lease management software.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Completion of 5 years of secondary education.
  • Diploma in Accounting or equivalent relevant experience.
