Join our team that keeps Air New Zealand’s regional network running smoothly. As a Crew/Operations Controller based in Christchurch, you’ll play a vital role in connecting communities across Aotearoa. Please note this is a 24-month fixed-term contract.
What You’ll Do:
You’ll be at the centre of our Regional Airlines Operations Centre, managing daily flight operations and ensuring our schedules stay on track. You’ll coordinate with crew, respond to disruptions, and make real-time decisions that keep our network moving.
- You will monitor and adjust flight schedules to minimise delays
- You will liaise directly with crew to maintain roster integrity
- You will collaborate with internal teams to resolve operational challenges quickly and calmly
- You will use systems like Carina to manage crew logistics and compliance
What You’ll Bring:
You’re calm under pressure, detail-oriented, and thrive in fast-paced environments, you’ll bring...
- Experience in airline operations or crew control
- Familiarity with Carina or similar crew management tools
- Understanding of CAA rules and employment agreements
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
