Risk and Compliance Specialist (Fixed Term)

Are you a proactive, passionate and detail-oriented professional looking to make a real impact? Join Air New Zealand on a 7-month fixed term contract, as a Risk and Compliance Specialist and support the Chapter Lead in embedding and maintaining our Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework. This role is key to strengthening our risk culture.
You will:
- Facilitate risk review workshops with senior leaders and support updates to risk registers
- Support enterprise level consolidation, analysis and reporting of risk information to the Board
- Deliver risk management training to build risk capability
- Maintain and enhance the ERM framework, tools, and methodology
- Collaborate with Legal, Internal Audit, and other stakeholders on risk related matters
- Provide guidance and input to risk assessments for specialist risk projects on request.
You have:
- A degree in a relevant discipline
- 3+ years’ experience in risk or compliance
- Strong understanding of the risk management process
- Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and data analysis
- Excellent communication, relationship management, and facilitation skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information.
