Senior Mobile Engineer (Android)

The Senior Mobile Engineer will provide expert software engineering skills to a dedicated Product team focused on building, testing and supporting new and existing software applications.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual who thrives on challenges and is eager to contribute to innovative mobile solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend developers. 

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Design and develop advanced Android applications.
  • Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend developers.
  • Improve app performance, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Identify and resolve bugs and performance issues.
  • Stay updated with the latest Android technology and best practices.
  • Participate in the architectural design of scalable, secure, and high-performance apps.

Required Experience:  

  • Extensive experience in Android development.
  • Exceptional technical expertise in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose development, and working knowledge of Java.
  • Experience with Swift, backend-for-frontend development patterns and deployments, and AWS experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and Android SDK.
  • Strong understanding of mobile app design patterns and UI guidelines.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
