We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP Developer to join our Engineering Delivery Unit, supporting Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain & Aircraft Availability at our Auckland Airport Campus.
This role reports to the Chapter Lead SE – ERP Engineering, within the DevOps Chapter Area, and will involve advanced design and development across our SAP environments.
What you’ll be doing:
- Develop and enhance SAP applications using ABAP, RAP, CDS Views, OData services (S4 & ECC6).
- App development and integration via SAP BTP.
- Redevelop legacy applications into modern Fiori SAPUI5 apps.
- Design APIs and integration solutions (REST, OData) across various systems.
- Promote and deploy using RevTrac, CI/CD (ADO), and Agile practices.
- Provide technical leadership, mentor peers, and influence solutions.
- Collaborate in agile squads, co-design user stories, and deliver iterative improvements.
What you’ll bring:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 7+ years' SAP development experience (ABAP, S/4HANA, ECC6).
- Proven expertise with ECC6, S4, Fiori SAPUI5 (Freestyle & Elements), App Development and integrations using BTP Integration Suite.
- Comfort with varied tech (JavaScript, Node.js, Python).
- Curiosity about emerging tech, including AI and automation.
- Strong API design and integration skills.
- Experience in Supply Chain, Maintenance, or related functional areas is advantageous.
