We are looking for a Senior Solutions Architect to join our collaborative, forward-thinking team. In this pivotal role, you will design and deliver innovative, high-quality solutions that drive the success of Air New Zealand's digital vision. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring solutions align with both business goals and our broader technology strategy.
The Role You Will Play
Reporting to a Chapter Lead Solution Architecture within the Architecture Chapter, you will work alongside subject matter experts, stakeholders, and key decision-makers to architect solutions that are scalable, secure, and adaptable to our dynamic business environment.
What You Will Bring to This Role
We are looking for someone who can:
- Quickly grasp unfamiliar business domains and emerging technologies.
- Collaborate effectively with technologists across a variety of disciplines including developers, system analysts, security consultants, and other solution architects.
- Take a holistic view of solutions, understanding their broader impact across multiple technology domains and how they align with business objectives.
- Produce clear, purposeful documentation that communicates complex ideas to diverse audiences.
- Gain the trust and confidence of business leaders and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with Air New Zealand’s goals.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of Air New Zealand’s technology strategy and contribute to its evolution.
You’ll be working with a wide range of technologies, including on-premise, public cloud (primarily AWS), SaaS solutions, and commercial products such as our loyalty program and aviation software. You will also work with modern integration approaches such as APIs, Kafka, Mulesoft, and more.
