Senior Systems Analyst

Role Overview

As a Senior Systems Analyst, you will provide technical analysis and support for business applications within the Operational Integrity & Safety (OI&S) portfolio. Acting as a subject matter expert, you'll ensure system stability, support critical safety and integrity applications, and lead enhancements to drive continuous improvement.

As a senior member of the team you will have a keen focus on leading by example, mentoring and coaching our Systems Analysts, facilitating meetings/workshops and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

What you'll do

  • Day to day support and maintenance of systems
  • Implementation and delivery of system enhancements
  • Driving system efficiencies and reducing risk of failure and/or downtime
  • Ongoing development to improve system availability and performance
  • Implement and support system integrations
  • Maintaining system support documentation
  • Analysis, mapping and documentation of business processes
  • Supporting the implementation of new Digital solutions
  • Peer mentoring and leadership
  • Meeting & workshop facilitation
  • Building and maintaining strong stakeholder and vendor relationships

What you'll bring to the role

  • Proven experience supporting both hosted and on-premises systems in a medium to large size organisation
  • Good understanding of SaaS technology and principles
  • Ability to diagnose and solve complex technical issues
  • Proven experience with system integrations
  • Good understanding of identity/access management solutions e.g. Single Sign On (SSO)
  • Proven experience in establishing and effectively maintaining collaborative stakeholder relationships
  • Experience with meeting and workshop facilitation
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Exceptional communication with strong customer service skills
  • Good initiative and the ability to work without direct supervision
  • Strong understanding of Service Management practices
  • Good understanding of QA principles
  • A 'can do' attitude
