Senior Workforce Planner

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Workforce Management Chapter Area as a Senior Workforce Planner. Working collaboratively with key stakeholders across our business, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing workforce resources, ensuring operational efficiency, and supporting strategic planning efforts. You will leverage data-driven insights and labor plans to meet commercial objectives while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and compliance with industry standards.

The role you will play:

  • Develop and Maintain Optimized Labor Plans: Create and sustain labor plans that maximize resource utilization within agreed-upon risk, performance, and cost parameters, ensuring consistent and efficient operations.
  • Provide Data-Driven Insights for Strategic Decisions: Generate models, forecasts, analyses, and reports to equip the business with valuable workforce information, aiding in informed decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Strengthen Stakeholder Relationships: Establish and nurture internal and external relationships, providing advice and support to facilitate the delivery of products and services.
  • Foster a High-Performance Team Environment: Offer guidance and support to the team to cultivate a high-performance culture, adhering to business requirements, regulations, and standards.
  • Ensure Compliance in Training Programs: Recognize training requirements and ensure all programs are planned, executed, and documented in line with business objectives and regulatory standards.
  • Recommend and Implement Schedule Enhancements: Identify and suggest modifications to current and future schedules to improve operational targets, ensuring financial viability.

Our ideal candidate: 

  • Proven expertise in project management and success in improving processes
  • In-depth knowledge of collective agreements and the negotiation process.
  • Familiarity with relevant operations and Aviation Training Organisation Procedures.
  • University graduate in a business discipline or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Possesses the expertise, interpersonal skills, and communication ability to quickly gain credibility and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Consistently delivers reliable, actionable plans.
  • Strong ability to prioritize tasks and meet competing deadlines while working independently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Adaptable, motivated, and committed to continuous improvement in a dynamic environment.
