Supply Planning Specialist

We’re on the lookout for experienced Supply Planning Specialists to join our Auckland-based team in a permanent position. As a core member of our Supply Planning Chapter, you’ll lead end-to-end planning activities across a dedicated portfolio of aircraft components and materials. Your insights will help drive operational excellence, supporting our engineering and maintenance teams to deliver safe, on-time, and reliable journeys for our customers.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll bring your proven supply planning experience to:

  • Build and execute robust inventory and replenishment strategies in alignment with fleet maintenance plans and business objectives
  • Use your expertise in SAP ERP to manage material requirements, production orders, and vendor schedules
  • Maintain optimal stock levels to support availability while minimising holding costs and avoiding obsolescence
  • Analyse planning signals, lead times, and consumption trends to refine forecasts and drive planning accuracy
  • Monitor and improve KPIs including material availability, supplier OTIF, and slow-moving/obsolete stock
  • Facilitate weekly supply and exception review meetings, escalating risks and implementing solutions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, procurement, technical planning, and commercial teams
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives and system enhancements across the supply chain

What we’re looking for

You’re a supply chain professional with strong hands-on experience in supply planning—preferably in a technical or aviation-related environment. You’re comfortable navigating complex data and confident using systems to support operational decisions.

We’re particularly interested in candidates with:

  • Solid experience using SAP ERP systems for supply planning, MRP, and procurement coordination
  • Proficiency in Power BI, Excel, and other MS Office tools for data analysis and reporting
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ability to balance service with cost
  • A proactive and collaborative mindset—able to work independently while building strong cross-functional relationships
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement capabilities
