Warehouse Team Leader

Are you ready to lead and ensure seamless logistics that help keep Air New Zealand flying? We have both permanent and fixed term opportunities for experienced Warehouse Team Leaders in Auckland to drive high performance and operational excellence across our Logistics operations.

What you’ll be doing

As Warehouse Team Leader, you’ll lead a team of logistics professionals delivering warehousing, freight, tooling, and inventory services to both internal and external customers. You’ll ensure efficient, cost-effective operations while maintaining high safety and compliance standards.

In this role, you will:

• Lead and develop a high-performing logistics team focused on safety, performance, and continuous improvement
• Manage warehouse operations including staff supervision, resourcing, system improvements and emergency response
• Deliver on KPIs and operational SLAs including stock integrity, availability, and inventory targets
• Champion process innovation and digital tools to drive efficiency and reduce cost
• Oversee compliance with all health, safety and environmental regulations

What we’re looking for
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:

• Strong communication skills and a commitment to developing talent
• A track record of performance delivery and continuous improvement
• An understanding of inventory control, warehouse systems, and freight management
• Experience managing health, safety and regulatory compliance requirements

• SAP Experience
• Aviation Experience
• Dangerous Goods Certification
• Fork Hoist licence
