Aircraft Service Agent - Queenstown

Air New Zealand is currently looking for a permanent, part-time Aircraft Service Agent to join our team at Queenstown Airport.

What will I be doing?

Playing a key role in the operation at Queenstown Airport, you’ll be working both indoors and outdoors, up close alongside a variety of aircraft and machinery. Your duties will include baggage handling and aircraft interior cleaning.

You will need to be comfortable working in tight spaces on smaller ATR aircraft and within jet aircraft holds. This is a physically demanding role, so being fit and comfortable working in a physical environment is essential.

Role requirements

• Entitled to live and work permanently in New Zealand at the time of applying (NZ Citizen, NZ Permanent Resident, or Australian Citizen)
• Minimum Restricted New Zealand Driver Licence at the time of applying
• Experience working in a physically demanding, safety-conscious environment
• Hard-working and motivated to deliver excellent service to our customers in a safe and timely manner
• Resilient, with strong time management skills and the ability to adapt to changing deadlines and priorities

Shift work roster

This part-time role sees you working between 40 and 80 hours per fortnight. You will be rostered on rotating shifts based on business needs and the flight schedule.

We operate every day between 05:30 and 22:00, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays. You will need to be flexible to work across these days and times.
