Why Queenstown?
Queenstown is known for its amazing natural beauty, outdoor activities, and welcoming community. Despite the town’s tourist popularity, it maintains a tight-knit and supportive community spirit. With a population of just over 30,000 people, you’ll quickly get to know your neighbours and feel right at home.
If you have children, we have excellent schools in the region – you can guarantee that they’ll love attending class when it’s a learn to ski lesson!
Whilst Queenstown is known as the ‘adventure capital of the world’ with all sorts of adrenalin-filled sports available, there are lots of fabulous free things to do too. The local hikes are stunning, you can go on a leisurely bike ride through the wine country or be brave and take an icy-cold swim in the bright blue waters of Lake Wakatipu.
The town also has a vibrant arts and culture scene, with regular events and festivals from live music, comedy shows, and sporting events, all providing plenty of opportunities to enjoy the beautiful Central Otago countryside.
