Calibration Aircraft Engineer

Air New Zealand's Engineering and Maintenance division plays a significant part in the safe and reliable operation of our aircraft. Calibration Services currently have a position within our Auckland operation for a Calibration Engineer to join our team on a permanent, full time day shift basis.

Our Auckland Calibration Centre carries out work for a wide range of areas: Electrical, Temperature, Torque and Force, Pressure, Mechanical, Dimensional and Flow. The role will include carrying out calibration and repair work in accordance with approved data, customer requirements and company procedures. We support the Calibration needs of Air New Zealand, many South Pacific airlines/MROs and selected industrial customers.

The successful candidate will be a motivated individual who can work as part of a small, highly productive team.  Quality orientated with sound judgement, attention to detail and someone who proactively ensures that a Safety and Compliance Culture is in place at all times. 

Preference will be given to individuals that have previous metrology experience in an ISO 17025 accredited environment and relevant Avionics/Electronics or Electrical training/qualifications however these are not prerequisites for the role.
