Content Journalist - Videographer

We are looking for an experienced Content Journalist - Videographer to join our busy and high-performing Communications team to amplify our people and all the exciting things happening within the airline. We have plenty of stories to tell, and we’re looking for a gifted and creative storyteller to find them and tell them across our internal and external channels. You’ll be a pro with a video camera and equally adept at writing a good yarn. It’s a fast-moving team so you’ll have your running shoes on and camera at the ready.

Key Outputs

  • Create informative, engaging and high-quality visual communications for internal and external audiences
  • Proactively seek out, research and film compelling stories from across the business that bring the company's values to life
  • Post-production and editing of photography and videography.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the business
  • Provide production support for online and live events when required.

Work Experience

  • Excellent storytelling capabilities to bring ideas to life
  • Creative thinker, articulate and persuasive
  • Able to deliver high-quality video, photography and design
  • 2-3 years’ experience in a journalism/news environment
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering informative, engaging and entertaining communications for a large, complex organisation
  • Creative and confident writer
  • Previous experience working with senior leadership teams.

Education

  • University graduate in communications or journalism preferred

Skills

  • Advanced skills in videography, photography and editing
  • A positive, strategic and problem-solving attitude with enthusiasm and ability to drive creativity   and top of the range visual content
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to articulate views crisply and convincingly
  • Influencing skills - able to demonstrate the importance and value to the business of getting communications right.
