We currently have a Permanent, Part Time Customer Service Agent opportunity available here in Invercargill airport.
What will you be doing?
As the first point of contact in the Airport, we expect you to delight our customers by demonstrating the Kiwi charm and capability that we're admired for around the world. You will provide technical assistance and expertise to ensure the travel experience is smooth and seamless from check-in through to boarding and provide special assistance with wheelchairs and unaccompanied minors.
This is a front-line role where your charisma and empathy continues despite sometimes challenging circumstances such as delays or disrupts. You'll need to be friendly, energetic, with a can-do attitude and great thinking on your feet! Ideal candidates will demonstrate the wow factor and show a true passion for service quality. Safety and Security are top priority, and you'll have comprehensive training & support to ensure you, your colleagues, and customers are safe in this fast-paced environment.
Shift Work Roster
The part time role sees you working between 36 and 72 hours a fortnight. You will be rostered on shifts which rotate and change, depending on the business needs and flight schedule. We operate every day between the hours of 0500 and 2100. This includes working weekends, nights and on public holidays. You will need to be flexible to work across these different shift days and times.
You'll need:
- Entitled to work permanently in New Zealand at the time of applying (NZ Citizen, NZ Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen).
- NZ Restricted or Full Driver Licence with reliable transport to work
- Frontline customer service experience, preferably in a fast-paced, demanding environment
- Ability to work with computers, remember booking codes & processes, and pick up new systems quickly
- Your excellent communication skills and professional, friendly manner will be critical to your success in this position.
